Our Web server automatically recognizes each visitor’s domain name, but does not automatically collect personally identifiable information. There are times, however, such as when you place a product order or register for an event, that we will collect specific information. If you choose to provide personally identifiable data, you may receive future information from us–by mail, electronically or by telephone–advising you of upcoming Tahoe Family Solutions events, services, new products, or volunteer and support opportunities. Credit Card Information

Tahoe Family Solutions has contracted the services of a banking partner to process credit card donations and program fees submitted online. Our banking partner’s secured server encrypts your credit card information so that it may be safely transmitted over the Web. Your credit card information will not be released by Tahoe Family Solutions, its banking partner, or any other party.

Refund Policy

All purchases and donation processed online are final. However, some exceptions may apply. Please call (775) 298-0004 for more information.

Security Policy

We go to great lengths to keep your financial information private and safe. All credit transactions occur in a secure area of our site, to protect you from any loss, misuse or alteration of information collected. You can purchase online with confidence. If you have further questions, please call us at 775-298-0004 or e-mail us, including your name and mailing address.

We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately. When you’ve finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this “safe” area. Once you’ve entered, the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.

Note to Parents
