Tahoe Family Solutions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the well-being of all who live in the North Lake Tahoe community.

As a family resource center, we serve as community hub to help families and individuals access resources and build social connections. Through our FRC, we provide food and clothing assistance, emergency utility and housing support, and workshops on parenting and personal finance. Through our mental health care and youth programs, we offer practical, compassionate services that meet people where they are — from counseling and after-school enrichment to case management, referrals, and free tax assistance. We also operate the community’s original thrift store, with all proceeds directed towards funding local programs. Rooted in the belief that healthy people build healthy communities, we’re here to help Tahoe thrive — together

Our Team

Our leaders are guided by the foundation’s mission to create a world in which every person has the opportunity to live a healthy, productive life.

Jody Wright

Executive Director

With more than 25 years in non-profit leadership, Jody brings a history of commitment to community, mission and service—particularly those that support children and families.

As a native Nevadan, she is excited to bring her skills and experience back home to Northern Nevada and beautiful Incline Village after many years in the Pacific Northwest.

Her belief that sometimes anyone could use a hand and an ally drives her passion for the work. The recognition of the importance of the team and community in creating support services for families in need has driven her to develop creative and productive partnerships so that resources can be expanded and more can be served.

Jessica Vaughn

Community Engagement Director

Jessica brings strong operational leadership, relationship-building expertise, and a deep commitment to community connection to her role as Thrift Store & Community Engagement Director.

With nearly two decades of experience managing complex, high-volume operations in the mortgage and financial services sector, she has led teams, overseen detailed workflows, and ensured accuracy, compliance, and accountability under tight timelines.

Her background as a senior team coordinator and loan officer reflects a results-driven approach grounded in trust, clear communication, and exceptional customer service.

In her current role, Jessica applies those skills to community-centered work—managing day-to-day operations, building partnerships, and creating welcoming, well-run spaces that serve both people and purpose. Known for her ability to problem-solve, train and support staff, and navigate challenging situations with calm and care,

Jessica plays a key role in connecting community members to resources while strengthening engagement and sustainability. Her leadership helps ensure the thrift store is not only an essential program, but also a meaningful point of connection for the community.

Leslie Blunden

Programs Director

Leslie brings more than two decades of nonprofit experience supporting children and families, grounded in a career that blends education, clinical training, and hands-on program leadership. After 15 years as an elementary school librarian, she earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and went on to work across foster care and adoption, family preservation, child play therapy, and family reunification.

Her work is driven by a deep belief in meeting families where they are and building programs that respond to real, everyday needs.

Since joining Tahoe Family Solutions, Leslie has been a steady, compassionate force behind the organization’s programs—engaged in everything from mental health intakes to youth enrichment and literacy initiatives. She values collaboration and has worked closely with staff, volunteers, and partner agencies to expand resources and strengthen community connections.

After moving to Lake Tahoe from Southern California in 2007, Leslie found both a home and a community she’s deeply invested in, bringing her care, creativity, and commitment to families throughout the region.

Sharon Silva

Youth Programs Director

Sharon brings a strong blend of strategic leadership, program design, and hands-on experience to her role as Youth Programs Director. Most recently, she led early learning and parenting programs at Sierra Community House, where she oversaw bilingual school readiness initiatives, parent and caregiver support groups, and special needs programs serving families from pregnancy through adolescence.

Sharon is deeply committed to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and has a proven ability to build high-quality programs through thoughtful planning, strong staff development, sound fiscal management, and meaningful community partnerships.

Sharon’s connection to Tahoe Family Solutions runs deep. From 2011 to 2019, she directed youth outdoor education and leadership programs, managing all aspects of camp operations while expanding access and impact—most notably redesigning the program to increase participation by 75%.

Her background also includes direct family support through tutoring, bilingual interpretation, and case navigation for essential services. Guided by a belief in protective factors and continuous improvement, Sharon brings both vision and care to youth programming, strengthening pathways for children and families to learn, grow, and thrive.

Nayeli V. Enriquez Ramos

Family Resources Center Manager

Nayeli is a cornerstone of Tahoe Family Solutions, bringing more than a decade of experience, deep community roots, and exceptional skills to her role as Family Resource Center Manager.

A longtime Incline Village local, she combines formal training as a Social Service Worker with practical, relationship-driven case management that helps families navigate complex systems with clarity and confidence.

Fluent in both English and Spanish and certified as a Community Interpreter, Nayeli ensures families receive culturally responsive, accessible support at every step.

In addition to her case management leadership, Nayeli plays a key role in early learning—guiding families through school readiness and fostering a love of reading in young children through Reading With Your Littles.

Her work is grounded in trust, consistency, and the belief that being present and knowledgeable can change outcomes. After 12 years with TFS, Nayeli’s commitment to families—and to the team she proudly calls her second family—continues to shape programs that strengthen children, parents, and the entire community.

As she shares, “The help we give people gives them a breath of fresh air—it helps them get through an uphill battle.”
