About Robin: A graduate of The Ohio State University in 1979, Robin has worked in non-profit development and management for over 30 years. He has been an executive director for a diverse set of both 501-C3 and 501-C6 organizations such as Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, The Boys and Girls Club of Geneva NY, and the Storage Networking Industry Association. In his career he has had the honor to work with various Board’s and committee’s to raise over 32 million dollars in both operating and capital funds.
Robin has been the Executive Director of TFS for 11 years and says, “The reason I enjoy the work here so much is the fantastic caliber of people I have met and work with in this community. Their enthusiasm and passion for supporting the work of TFS as we strive to strengthen families in the region is, in my opinion, unmatched by any other community in which I have resided.”
Robin currently live in Incline Village NV with his wife Laura and 2 sons. He enjoys hiking and swimming and is dedicated to organizing an effort to bring a residential camping experience here in the North Tahoe area.
Leslie Blunden MA

About Leslie: After 15 years as an elementary school librarian, Leslie went back to school and received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in 2000. She has worked with nonprofits for the past 20 years in areas such as foster and adoption, family preservation, child play therapy and family reunification.
Leslie says, “Working at Tahoe Family Solutions has been a wonderful experience for me. As Program Director, I am able to be involved in all of our day-to-day activities, whether it is completing an intake for mental health, planning a camp craft or developing a reading program for elementary students. I have had the privilege to work with dedicated staff, volunteers and partner agencies to help bring resources to our community.”
Leslie moved from Southern California to Lake Tahoe in 2007 and enjoys hiking, reading, and crafting.

About Sarah: Sarah is committed to serving her community and is passionate about providing outdoor wellness and recreation to our young future leaders. With a degree in Environmental science from Sierra Nevada University, she is excited to help our community’s youngest members learn to appreciate and grow their stewardship for the environment through our wonderful Camp Explore program.
In addition to work, Sarah loves to ski, garden, and relax in her hammock with a good book.

About Nayeli: Nayeli has been a local of Incline Village for 30 years and was raised in this beautiful small town. She loves Tahoe and is now going to raise her children, Leonardo and Daniela, in the same town that she grew up in. Nayeli took a Social Service Worker course, and she discovered her passion for helping others. She is fluent in both English and Spanish languages. For Nayeli, helping is making the difference and having a client say, “Thank you for your help, now I know where to come!” is priceless. Nayeli says, “For the 7 years I’ve been part of TFS, I feel really fortunate to be part of this outstanding team. I’ve learned something new from every team member. Now that I’m part of the team I can see what TFS is really about, they go above and beyond for our community and I’m happy to be part of this team.”

Micheline Thompson

Micheline’s was formerly the Manager of Special Events, Marketing, and Development with Tahoe Family Services in Incline Village, Nevada. She has now stepped into the role of Director of Development. Micheline has degrees from both Loyola Marymount University (B.A. international business) and the University of Arizona (B.S. molecular and cellular biology) including graduate coursework in public health ( biostatistics and epidemiology). She also studied visual communication (graphic design and web development ) at Truckee Meadows Community College. Micheline is bilingual in Spanish and English and loves to travel the globe.
Dr. Sukhi Johal MD

Dr. Johal is a specialist in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and brings over 20 years of clinical experience to TFS. He is a member of American Psychiatric Association, Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and splits his time between Tahoe Family Solutions and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

About Patrick: Patrick Keilty has worked with Tahoe Family Solutions since 1997. He graduated from the Pacifica Graduate Institute with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and was licensed by the State of Nevada as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2000. Patrick specializes in children’s play therapy, family relationships, and child-caregiver interaction.
